Previously based studios in Croydon and Burhill Park Surrey.
Here you can see me pushing a few faders, looking busy generally the equipment is as described below however this is an early picture before we refurbished in 1994.
Here you can see the Studiomaster II mixing desk, in the background you can see the trusted Atari 1040 and one of the large EV monitors.
The old studio nerve center, believe it or not in this little corner I spent much of my life!
In the rack, Yamaha SPX1000, Sony Reverb, Bell Delay, Quadraverb, Akai S3200 & S1000....
I must have spent 3 months wiring in these patch bays in the background at the bottom of the rack (not very clear), Drawner Gates & Compressors. Further up the rack, Roland PV Synth, Roland MKS 50 + PG200, Roland MKS 70 + PG800. Keyboards on the shelves include a Mini Moog, Roland JD800 and Prophet 600 (world's first MIDI keyboard).
Going back some time here to the very early 1990's, working in some nice surroundings in Burhill Park, Surrey, which is now owned by Michael Hucknall, (Simply Red) enough said!
About 1987-1988 this picture was taken at Islington Music Workshop I was Engineering, Producing & Teaching sound production courses run by the government.
To the left is a remote control unit for a MCI 24 Track analogue tape machine, looks like a WW2 receiver to me!
Another view looking back from the desk
This is a side view of the custom built 80 input Amek Mozart an impressive sounding desk.
A view looking back from the mixing desk.
This is a much better view you can get an idea of the size of the mixing desk and the huge monitors (speakers) custom built by Roger Quested.
On the left hand side is a Minimoog and a couple of Atari computers.
Another view taken at night again the desk looks quite impressive.
